Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Parties to this agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between [Company Legal Name] of [Registered Address], operating the Digital Asset Intelligence platform ("DAI", "we", "us", "our"), and the individual or organisation accessing the platform ("you"). Where you access DAI on behalf of an employer, client, or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. Where you access DAI as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. The service

DAI is a regulatory intelligence platform for digital asset compliance professionals. The service comprises:

  • Live regulatory feed — monitored items from official regulator, supervisor, and standard-setter sources across multiple jurisdictions, with provenance, source links, verification status, and event dating.
  • Alerts and briefings — jurisdiction and topic-based email alerts and periodic briefings.
  • Professional features — for paid subscribers: the My Jurisdictions dashboard, impact analysis on monitored items, archive search with historical trend views, saved items with folders and private notes, and PDF/CSV export.
  • Institutional features — where separately contracted: team seats, shared workspaces, and advisory engagements.

We monitor sources continuously but do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, complete, error-free, or that every relevant regulatory development will be captured. Coverage, sources, and features may change as the platform evolves.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out under your account. Accounts are for named individuals; credential sharing across multiple people requires a team or institutional plan.

4. Subscription terms

  • The Free tier provides access to the public live feed, briefings, and jurisdiction/topic alerts at no charge.
  • The Professional plan is billed at USD $49 per month, in advance, on a recurring monthly cycle from the date of purchase.
  • The Professional plan auto-renews each month until cancelled. Your payment method is charged automatically on each renewal date.
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from account settings in your portal, which opens the hosted billing portal provided by Paddle.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Professional features remain available until that date, after which the account reverts to the Free tier. Saved items, folders, and notes are retained in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • Prices are exclusive of applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST, which is calculated and added at checkout by our Merchant of Record.
  • We may change subscription pricing on at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal, and you may cancel before that date.
  • Institutional plans are governed by a separate written order form or agreement, which prevails over this section in the event of conflict.

5. Payment processing and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Acting as Merchant of Record, Paddle:

  • processes payments and stores payment instruments — we do not hold your card details;
  • calculates, collects, and remits applicable sales tax, VAT, and GST;
  • issues invoices and receipts; and
  • handles chargebacks, payment disputes, and refund processing.

Your purchase is therefore also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms. In the event of a conflict on payment, billing, tax, or dispute mechanics, the Paddle Buyer Terms govern that subject matter. Refunds are addressed in our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Access is granted for your own internal compliance, research, and advisory work. You must not:

  • resell, sublicense, syndicate, or otherwise commercially redistribute the DAI feed, alerts, impact analysis, exports, or archive content to any third party without our prior written authorisation;
  • scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or use automated means to extract content outside the export tools and any interfaces we expressly provide;
  • use exported material in a way that removes source attribution, verification status, or event dating;
  • share account credentials, or exceed the seat count of your plan;
  • use the service unlawfully or fraudulently, transmit malware, or probe, interfere with, or circumvent the security or technical limits of the platform;
  • infringe our intellectual property or that of the source authorities we cite.

Extracts may be used in internal reports and client deliverables with attribution to Digital Asset Intelligence and to the underlying primary source.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its software, editorial summaries, impact analysis, taxonomies, methodology, and branding are owned by [Company Legal Name] or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the scope of your plan. Underlying regulatory instruments remain the property of the issuing authorities; we link to primary sources so you can verify and cite them directly. Content you enter — notes, folders, jurisdiction footprints — remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it to provide the service.

8. No professional advice; disclaimer of liability

Digital Asset Intelligence content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, investment, or compliance advice. Regulatory positions change frequently; verify all material with primary sources and qualified counsel before relying on it for licensing, supervisory, or compliance decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, or for regulatory or enforcement outcomes arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim connected with these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay sums due, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly breach the acceptable use terms. Where practicable we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy. On termination your licence ends; you may export saved items and notes for 30 days before deletion, unless we are required to retain data by law.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of [Governing Law Jurisdiction], and the courts of [Governing Law Jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction, save where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in the service, our business, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. For material changes — including to subscription pricing, acceptable use, or liability — we will notify registered users by email to the address on the account and by an in-product notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, you may cancel before that date and your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms: legal@daiintelligence.com or via our contact form. Billing and refund enquiries are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
